Informe Final INICIA
During the first quarter of 2026, HVR Energy reached a significant milestone in its objective of deploying a network of hydrogen refuelling stations across Spain, completing the installation and commissioning of the four stations included in the INICIA project.
Developed by Hidrógeno Verde Renovable, S.L. under project reference PATSYD-24-00049, the initiative has enabled the deployment of an initial network of hydrogen refuelling stations at existing service stations located at strategic points along Spain’s road transport network: Algete (Madrid), El Arrecife (Córdoba), Cozvíjar (Granada) and Valdespartera (Zaragoza). This achievement represents an important step in HVR Energy’s growth strategy, demonstrating that hydrogen refuelling infrastructure can be successfully integrated into operational service stations by making use of existing locations and accelerating a more agile, scalable and replicable deployment model.
Through these four hydrogen refuelling stations, HVR Energy is contributing to the development of hydrogen corridors in Spain and to the objectives of the Spanish Hydrogen Roadmap, strengthening the availability of infrastructure needed to advance towards zero-emission road mobility.
The INICIA project is turning the transport decarbonisation strategy into real infrastructure that is installed, operational and connected to the country’s main logistics corridors.
